- Civil Engineer – Roads Manager
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 15 years of practical experience, with strong experience in road and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in managing and implementing road projects and supervising field works.
- Advanced knowledge of excavation, backfilling, leveling, foundation layers, asphalt and rainwater drainage.
- Ability to read and review charts, technical specifications, and BOQ tables of quantities.
- Experience in managing contractors, implementation teams, equipment and resources on site.
- Ability to follow up on schedule, completion rates, productivity, costs, and address delays and deviations.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements in road projects.
- Ability to coordinate with the consultant, owner, contractors, and related authorities.
- Experience in preparing periodic reports and following up on project performance indicators.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software, and experience in Primavera P6 or project management software is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills in managing teams, solving problems, and making decisions.
- A valid professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is preferred.
